1. What is AArdon´s Germanleads?
Germanleads was launched in July 2002 by AArdon GmbH, Stefan Lehne & Rene Eisenmann, both old-fashioned IT specialists.

2. What exactly is cultural translation of websites?
We translate your existing homepage into German. In order to prevent cultural misunderstandings. The translation is done by native speakers with tourism & marketing background to make sure your website reaches the German market without confusing guests or customers.

3. What are the advantages of purchasing a package?
The major benefit of purchasing a package is to be the first presence in the German-speaking market for your area. It's not enough to be on the net in your own language; the offer must also be easy and clear to your foreign guests. Attracting more tourists with their own language will put you in front of your competitors.

4. Do you use a program or script for translation?
No, all our translations are done by native speakers with sufficient business background. If we would use programs & scripts for the translation, it wouldn't make any sense to the audience, which certainly wouldn't bring you any revenue or advantage.

5. Do you use a program or script for search engine submission?
We use both manual & automatic submission. The first submission is done manually, while all following submissions are automatically done constantly, with a manual resubmission every 4 - 5 months.

6. We have a major website whose content is produced via database.

7. I´m not sure which Operating System my current hosting uses.
Germanleads will determine which Operating System is the best for your German mirror site and will take care of it.

8. Do I have exclusive ownership over the mirror site or my Press Release?
Yes, after we write or edit a press release on your German mirror website, you own it. You can use it in other ways, such as posting it to your website, distributing it to other media organizations, etc.

9. What payment methods are available?
AArdon Internet GmBH accepts customer orders via online checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners, JCB and debit cards with the Visa or Mastercard logo.

10. I´m not confident about using FTP, Frontpage, or Perl; what can i do?
Once your website is translated, our admin will publish your site on our server and take care of it.

11. I never had a login for my regular website.
Can I use your service?
We will access your regular website and make it available for our translators.

12. I just need a very small change on the site (change of owner);
how much will it cost?
As your partner we will not charge anything for small changes
(i.e. those which can be done within 5 minutes).

13. Mailsystem
Do I need to configure the Spam & Virus checking software?
You don´t need to configure it because it's a managed service; all tasks are done
by our server and admins.
For example, we check using Spamcop on a regular basis to make sure our software is up-to-date. Almost 95% of spam and various viruses are blocked by our system.

14. Can i forward my .de mails to my regular mail address?
Yes you can by using the web interface. If you want to do a "catchall"
and forward all messages to your regular mailbox, change the nobody alias destination in the alias configration menu. If you need help please drop us an email.


15. Do you provide DNS Service also?
Yes we use the highly reliable DNSbox DNS System.
Located in Germany its configured and used for .de, .at and .ch Domain registration; all tasks are done via webinterface.

16. We operate our own DNS Server; can you register
the .de Domain with our DNS?
Yes, we can register your Domain with your DNS.

Please make sure both ns1 & ns2 are in different subnetworks,
which is necessary for the German registration "Denic".
You may also use our ns2.dnsbox.de as a secondary DNS Server.
Please contact our service team for details.

17. Is there a fee for the DNSbox Service?
No, the DNSbox P System is included in your package.

18. Do you offer Product Database Translation?
Yes, we also offer all kind of database translations
(MS Access, MySql, PostgreSQL to name a few).
Please contact our sales team for a free consultation.
The Translation is usually done via SQL Dump of the Database.
